Hi there! I'm Danielle (or Dani). I am one of the writer/bloggers/women of The Hive Blog.
Leanna and I wanted to start a site to share beauty, lifestyle, and everything in between. Wether it's a product you may be skeptical of using or a book you've never heard of, we'd like to write about it. We’re so excited to start this journey off and want to kick it off with an introduction.

We work in hospitality design in a small office space of 8 people. Leanna went to TCU for design and I went to A&M for Creative Writing, (see how that totally fits into Design?) We decided to start this blog because we are always on to another project, wanting to try this or that. Why not have some fun with it and hear back from some followers while we’re at it?
A normal day for us is usually a toss up. I work particularly with purchasing for smaller contracts and Leanna will work more on specifying on the same projects. A day can either consists of scheming together fabrics and finishes, or throwing around names a potential client might name their project. (That actually only happened once, but it was a very fun brainstorming session).
I Literally work this close to her. I'm sure she is THRILLED about this picture.
Basically, we get to “play” a lot with beautiful fabrics, soft leathers and sheers.
That's really all there is to it! We plan on doing some fun things for the readers with a wide array of topics: DIY Fails or Victories, Product Reviews & Favorites, Book Recommendations & Reviews, Hair Hacks...You can even request something if you'd like to hear our thoughts on a specific topic.
