Ahh, I love Summer. I know, I know - It's almost Christmas. I can't help it! I love chips & salsa on a patio with good ole' lime margaritas and sunshine. It's important for a lot of people to keep it light during the holidays so instead of cutting back on food, I make my drinks a little lighter.

Moscow Mules are one of my favorites. And the recipe is simple including the one thing I add in myself. Mint.
Minty Moscow Mule:
2 Measures Gin - I use Gordons or Beefeater's London Dry
1 Measure Lime Juice - (Tip: You really can just squeeze a half into the shaker or directly into the glass - no need to eyeball unless you want every drop of lime)
1 Stem of Mint
Ginger Beer
Fill Moscow Mule cup with ice - Muddle mint with lime juice and add gin. Shake and pour over ice. Add Ginger Beer as needed.
Enjoy:)

This is so light and tasty! This week I'll be perfecting my Nutty Hot Cocoa, perfect for when it (finally) gets cold in Texas!
